Infrared vs. traditional, honestly

Traditional (170–195°F) matches the Finnish cohort studies and feels like the real thing. It needs more power (often 220V or wood fire) and usually lives outdoors. Infrared (120–140°F) plugs into a normal outlet, installs in a spare room, and is far easier to live with — you just extend sessions to 30–45 minutes for a comparable heat load.
