The cryotherapy case

Whole-body cryotherapy puts you in a chamber chilled to roughly -110°C to -140°C (about -166°F to -220°F) for 2–3 minutes. Its real advantages are practical, not physiological: it is fast, you stay dry, and there is no tub to fill, chill, or clean. For someone who hates being wet or wants a 3-minute in-and-out at a studio, that is a genuine draw.

The problem is that the extreme temperature is doing less than it sounds. Air is a poor conductor, the exposure is short, and your core barely cools — skin gets very cold while deep tissue stays close to normal.
